Under Contract!

Thank you, thank you!!  We are so grateful for all our family and friends who have prayed along with us for our house in Savannah to sell.  Although it is bittersweet since we have so many memories that have happened there from children to pets to our church family and sweet friends, we are glad that this financial burden has been removed from us.

Also, a note for all those Savannah residents who are thinking about using a realtor, I give my highest recommendation to Christina McIntosh (from The McIntosh Team with Keller Williams).  We were impressed with her on so many levels - she was reliable, hard-working, dedicated and she even encouraged us throughout the selling process.  I'd be happy to give more details to anyone who would like to know more. :)
Our scheduled close date is July 21st.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Quick Anniversary Trip

For our 6th anniversary, we went on an overnight stay to Chicago.  We left Anna with a babysitter for over 24 hours!  We missed her much, but we knew she was in good hands.  McCormick, our babysitter, made sure to send us cute photos and videos to keep us updated.
This was the view from our hotel room.  We actually stayed in the same hotel that we stayed in 5 years ago for our 1 year anniversary.  They upgraded our room to give us this view when they found out it was our anniversary!
We tried "The Lou" from Lou Malnati's.  It was delicious!  It just may have become my favorite deep dish pizza place in Chicago.  :)  I want to go back and try the chocolate chip pizza dessert.  That sounded amazing (and rather unhealthy)!
We went to the Signature Lounge on the 95th floor of the Hancock building for dessert & to watch the sun go down.  We made sure to wait for a window seat so we could overlook the city!
The view was spectacular!
I really liked this black-and-white photo that I took of the night sky.
The next day, Curtis savored the smooth coffee at Intelligentsia!
We went to the giant bean in Millennium Park.  We documented our time there by taking a picture of our reflection while we kissed! :)
I took this cool panoramic shot with Curtis.
We spent some time watching them put the "M" in TRUMP on one of the buildings.  We also visited the Billy Goat Tavern, but I guess I didn't get a picture!
We were all happily reunited that afternoon.  Our anniversary trips look much different now that we have a little one.  We enjoy the time when it's just the two of us, but we can't imagine life without Anna now!
