4 Months

Our little "Kater-tot" is now a whopping 4 months old.  Her smiles are contagious!
She is starting to grasp items that are around her like balls, blankets, pacifiers, and hair.  She went on her first airplane and met Uncle Tim, Aunt Monica, Great Aunt Bite and all her cousins during this month (see previous post).
On the plane to San Antonio
She also got her ears pierced and rolled over from tummy to back.  Here's some pictures to document this month:

Special times with Anna
Rockin' the sunglasses

Family tummy time!

The thumb is becoming a favorite over the paci, just like her big sister.

The Bumbo has been helping her take care of a flat spot

A few shots of Kate posing on her 4 month birthday:

We love her so much! Oh - and here's the comparison. Anna on the left, Kate on the right.
Kate's hair is darker and I'm seeing more differences now.

  1. Enjoy reading your blog and learning about your family. Loved hearing about your daughter getting her little ears pierced. Think you were a smart mommy getting her ears pierced now when mommy can care for them, plus she looks so darn cute with little earrings. We did our daughter at this age and everyone who noticed her little earrings loved how cute she looked..

I always dreamed of having a little girl with cute little pierced earrings. I was unsure when to do it, but our pediatrician who encouraged me to do it and gave me some tips for mom having their babies and little girls ears pierced.

There is nothing sweeter than a little girl with little pierced earrings poking through their hair especially with little pearls. Pearls are for little girls for sure. It makes them look so feminine and ingénue. Our daughter is six now and is girlie-girl and loves changing her earrings to match her dresses.

Any moms looking for more research on "to pierce or not to pierce," drop me an e-mail for our ped's suggestions.
