Savannah, here we come!

Good Evening friends and family,

We are excited to share with you that Curtis will be the new Assistant Pastor of Youth at Grace Church of the Islands Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Georgia! While this position will focus mainly on high school ministry, I (Curtis) will also be responsible for middle school, college, and some general pastoral ministerial duties. We are very excited about this opportunity and the church has welcomed us warmly. We are praising the Lord that He has guided us to where He desires us to minister in His perfect timing. We both feel confident that God has called us to Grace after spending many months in prayer wondering where God would lead us.

As this position is needed as soon as possible, we are planning on moving to Savannah by the 2nd week of August (Lord-willing). Please continue praying for us as we work out all the details including Margaret's job situation, moving from St. Louis, and where we'll live in Savannah, etc. We are confident that the Lord will provide as He always has! We would also ask that you pray for me (Curtis) as I will be traveling to Savannah next week as I am the speaker for the high school youth retreat (July 22-25). Please pray for me as I prepare the talks for the retreat.

Thank you for your prayers throughout this long process as we now know how they have been answered. We are excited to celebrate with you what the Lord has done for us and how He has used your prayers on our behalf. We look forward to sharing many more adventures with you as the Lord uses us to advance His Kingdom in Savannah.

The Waiting Game

Psalm 27:14 "Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!"

Curtis and I are waiting patiently for the Lord to show us where He wants us to minister. We are very excited to start dreaming of how God can use us wherever Curtis receives a call. We hope to have news to share with you very soon. Please keep praying for us!
