This guy at 4 months!

This is classic Drew. He has that "deer in the headlights" look. I love it!
He's a happy guy. I would say little, but he's been my biggest baby yet! He's weighing 15 pounds and 11 oz (75%) and he's 25 inches tall (50%). Anna took this one while I was strapping him in for a trip!
Drew seems to be getting more active with his play gym, but not rolling over quite yet.
He is able to roll to his side though! He's gotten in a bad habit of wanting to nap on our bed in the afternoon.
He also picked up the thumb-sucking habit like his sisters and I did. I have hope that he'll get over it before I did now that both of his sisters have officially quit!
I've been trying to cherish the moments with this guy!
I love being his mom!
And this chub is just adorable!
Anna was the child known for her big open mouth smiles, but I think Drew is going to compete for that! I don't even think Anna was doing them this young! Here's a few of my 4 month shots:

And to continue on my tradition of comparing all 3 at each age, here they all are at 4 months:

Anna is in Kindergarten

It's been an emotional month for us as we sent our firstborn to Kindergarten.
Her teacher took this picture of her, I think it turned out great! Grandma and Grandad got this special dress for her to wear on her first day of school.
Before the big day arrived, Anna met a few of her classmates and her teacher at a playdate.
She was so excited!
Check out this huge backpack on her. It had to be mermaids!
Curtis took her to the bus stop.
She got on while I drove over to the school to meet her on the other side.
And here she is!
She made it!
She was happy to get started.
She loves her teacher, Mrs. Winstead!
She was given "jitter juice" to get out the jitters on the first day of school.
She came home wearing this fabulous hat. She had a great first day!
She even shared her hat with Drew!
The girls also got these adorable matching and monogrammed dresses from their Papa, embroidered by their (maybe?) third cousin Cindy. I get a little confused with the actual family terminology, but they were precious dresses!
And one with mermaids on it in Anna's favorite color! Our extended family loved Anna (and Kate) well through these thoughtful dresses!
While Anna goes to school, I've gotten the privilege to spend special time with Kate, especially when Drew is sleeping. We have been learning our letters and using play-doh to spell out our names!
We've also painted nails! It's been fun though we miss Anna.
We were recently given this classroom shot as they do a book study on "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom." How neat! I think it's going to be a special year for Anna. Curtis and I are praying for her each day!

Summer 2018 Fun!

I wanted to share some of the highlights of our summer. It's been pretty low-key, but we've still made sure to keep it fun!
Hanging in a hammock
A special hay ride
A lot of naps for Drew
Lots of organization for Kate
Anna lost her first tooth!
The girls also decided to quit their thumb-sucking habit. As a reward, they chose these Barbies!
Swimming,
Sparklers,
Swinging, too!
A bittersweet time with a good friend before she moved.
We headed to the Children's Museum for the first time! There's lots of pictures I could share from this, but I'll just touch on a few.
As a family, we made a superhero costume at one of their workshops.
We had a lovely time playing with instruments at story time.

The girls excavated with Daddy.
Check out their goggles!
Anna flew in the superhero exhibit - here's her video.
We loved the carousel!
One of my favorites was learning about Liberty Bell 7 in the planetarium.
We went to the annual Riverfest for Tippecanoe County!
Anna wanted to do everything!
She rode a pony...
...and got her face painted!
The girls got to sit in the Boilermaker Xtra Special train!
They loved the bouncy house!
And Drew? Well, he slept for most of it!
Next up, Anna went to a Dance and Creativity Camp! Here she is in her tap shoes.
It included dancing, crafts, and gymnastics. I thought this picture turned out funny. She looks like she's in pain, but she had a ball! Ironically, she decided that her favorite thing out of all of these activities was crafts, so I guess we will save lots of money and NOT do dance in the future.  LOL.
We watched the Lafayette Aviators play!
Hey - it's Elsa, Batman and Anna!
Mollie came and met Drew! She stayed with us while Curtis went to RUF Staff Training, which made the week so much easier!
Doesn't Drew look cool in his sunglasses?
We've had a great summer so far! It's hard to believe it's almost over and Anna starts Kindergarten soon!
