April was a big month! Curtis and Drew celebrated birthdays. They also both sat inside a dump truck for the first time in their lives!
Drew moved out of his crib and into his toddler bed.
Ironically, he never sleeps on his bed though. We find him in varying positions on his chair instead! Haha!
Curtis's birthday came first on April 18th. I made the cake that Curtis regularly requests - chocolate stout cake. This year I decided to try double layers and I don't think we'll be going back to just one layer! I don't have many pictures for his birthday, but we had a nice date together as well as a fun celebration with our family.
Next up, Drew turned 3 on the 22nd! Drew was so excited to blow out his own candles after watching both of his sisters and his dad have birthdays before him. Since they were kind enough to allow him to blow out their candles (after they initially blew them out), he was happy to reciprocate! I thought it was so precious that he offered this on his own. I am loving his personality that is coming out!
We had a small Disney Cars birthday party for him that weekend. I was so happy that the birthday boy was the one that selected the string that pulled out all the candy in the piñata!
We played pin the tire on the car and Kate was the closest. I was way off - I am actually off the poster next to the door hinge!

We gave out race car checkered flag sunglasses and took a group shot! I think he had a great party!
