The month of April has shown us more beauty around our new house! We added some dark pink, purple, and yellow roses to our courtyard. The roses take turns blooming so we've found that they never bloom at the same time! We also have a blackberry bush that has been giving us ripe blackberries every day! They're quite tasty. The fourth picture is a fun little plant called "King's Crown."
One morning, Kate and I matched. We had to take a picture to document it at the bus stop!
Drew had a special grandparent vacation to Daytona Beach with my parents. (Anna and Kate will get their turn with them in August.)
Curtis traveled for most of April. Anna, Kate, and I had a girls' night where we painted nails and played Yahtzee while he was away.
I had the opportunity to meet with Jenna, my campus minister's wife. When I became one myself, I would think about her often as an example of how I would want to love and serve the RUF at Purdue students. I'm thankful for Curtis's new call that brings us back to people we have loved and missed like Jenna.

Curtis and I got a chance to explore our alma mater during his campus visit to the University of Florida! We went to some of our old dorms/apartments and had the chance to have a lunch date before we had to go back home.

We had our first Easter here and we had so many eggs hunts. I only took a picture of the one at our house, but they made out like candy bandits!
We worshipped at our new church and our kids sang "This is the Day." I was so proud of them all!
We celebrated a lovely Easter meal with my parents, my brother, my uncles (not pictured) and some cousins (not pictured).
The next day was Curtis's birthday! I loved what he decided to do that day. We had a relaxing day where we swam in our pool and then biked to Sonny's for dinner.
I made his favorite cake...
...and he blew out the candles holding Kate! I thought this picture turned out pretty cool with the smoke from the candles.
I got to see my cousin, Beth, for the first time since we became mothers!! It has been almost 10 years since I last saw her. Her children were so precious! I'm so glad it worked out for us to spend time together.
We celebrated Drew's birthday, but I plan to have a separate post about that soon. We also had Curtis's best friend, Ryan, stop by while he was visiting his parents in Jacksonville.
It was fun to meet Madeline, their youngest. My kids and I hadn't met her before. Our time together was short, but so worth it!
Our families get along so well. They all had a great time in our pool!
We also had a fire in our new fire pit. It was such a good month that I can't contain it all in one post! :)
