Zoo Trip

Curtis and I took Anna to the (free!) zoo in Lafayette.

The stroller limited some of what she could see, but I think she had a great time.

She was very interested in the miniature horse.

She would just stare at the animals!

Of course, by the end, she was asleep. :)  

We'll have to bring her back here when she's a little older and can appreciate it more. 

Five Months Old

Anna is getting so big!  Although she can't stand on her own, she sure likes to stand with help.  She has continued to add various snorts, gas noises and squeals to her vocabulary.  Of course, this is because she desperately wants to be the center of attention at all times of the day.  She now has the ability to grasp toys and pacifiers.  She also slides around in circles in her crib - we don't ever know which way she'll be laying when we get her in the morning.  She also loves to put things in her mouth, especially skin.  She loves Mommy's shoulder and Daddy's nose/cheeks.  This month, she went to the zoo for the very first time (I'll post about it soon).

Yep, even the giraffe ends up in her mouth.  :)

Within 15 minutes of the photo shoot, she was exhausted!
