One happy cat

We recently had to move Lion-O out of his room to prepare for the nursery.  We were concerned that this would be hard on him.  If anything, I think it's been harder on us now that we don't have a room we can put him in when he tries to wake us up early in the morning.
He has decided that my maternity pillow is the perfect shape for his sleeping needs.
We decided that he needed his own little bed since he lost his whole room.  I think he's pretty satisfied.  :)

My fun costume

For Halloween, I dressed up as a black cat that ate a goldfish.  The kids at our church were really interested in this.  "Does that mean that you dressed your baby up as a goldfish?" "Next year, I think that the goldfish will eat you up!"
  Even Lion-O loved it!

Oh Lion-O, Lion-O, Wherefore Art Thou Lion-O?

Lion-O has become a very large kitty.  When we first got him at 4 months old, he was a tiny 4 pounds.  He now is around 12 pounds and he's only 9 months old!  (When we purchased his flea medicine, he jumped from "Kitten" size to "Large Cat" size, haha!)  Sometimes, we have a hard time finding him and I say "Oh Lion-O, Lion-O, wherefore art thou Lion-O?"  Here are some funny places that I've found him:
When we were packing for a trip in January, he was afraid we weren't going to take him with us.
During the Super Bowl, he decided to take a nap right under the TV stand.

And lastly, in the diaper changing table! Haha!
He loves laying in Curtis' arms like a baby!
He loves to snuggle up to me when I'm napping!

If we get this excited about a little kitten, just imagine how crazy we will be over a baby one day!

Meet Our Kitten "Lion-O"

I went to Florida to visit my family last weekend and I came back with a new addition!

Here he is in action!
As you know, we haven't had much luck with our newest additions lately.  So, we decided to try one more time.  Instead of a dog or a baby, we opted to adopt a 4-month old rescue kitten that we named Lion-O.  (This is a Thundercats reference)
He really loves to snuggle next to Curtis' leg.
He is very playful!  He loves to play with the toy that Uncle Benny gave him.  You can see how tiny he is compared to the hamper.  When I took Lion-O to the vet, they told me he weight 5.25 pounds.
He is a very attractive kitten.  Do you see his little beauty mark?  He looks very similar to Regis, the cat that I grew up with for the last 6 years before I got married.
It's pretty impossible not to love this little guy.
