This summer was a very busy one for us. As much as we love Savannah, we felt that we needed to have a small getaway to relax and re-connect before the school year started up. We chose to go to Atlanta from August 27-30!
My favorite place that we went was to the World of Coca-Cola. If anyone has been around me long enough, they know that I am a huge Coke fan. Even though I don't usually like museums, this one was very entertaining and enjoyable for me. We had a great time trying the different types of sodas from other countries. Our favorites? A carbonated lemonade (Asia), apple-kiwi soda (Asia) and blue-raspberry Fanta (North America).
We also went to a Braves vs. Marlins baseball game. It was fun to go to it, but we are definitely more of Cardinals fans...especially once we heard that the Braves' fight song was the same as the Seminoles'. Boo!
We also went to Perimeter Church, a large PCA church in the area. It was very different from what we were used to, but we enjoyed it. We FINALLY got to eat at Qdoba again! We have been trying to use up our free burritos for a long time, but there aren't many Qdoba's in the south. Only 17 free burritos remaining. We also ate at other favorites like The Cheesecake Factory and The Original Pancake House.
